A very good experience, cannot praise the staff enough, The surgeon was excellent in every way and would not hesitate to recommend SpaMedica to anyone.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful and caring. They made me feel at ease throughout. The surgeon explained the process clearly and the operation was over before I knew it.

I had my right eye done on 19/5/24 in Poole which was great, all staff were pleasant and politely friendly, a wonderful painless experience, and with free parking and coffee not like Bmth hospital. As I'd had a detached retina in my left eye a few years before, I was asked to return in 2 weeks for a check up, so went home with 2 weeks of eye drops. This was on 4/6, but was cancelled by you but we did not get any messages on the phone. When I arrived on 4/6 to discover this, I then asked if I should receive more eye drops as I'd only been given 2 weeks worth while my wife who'd had a similar procedure in B'mth Hospital 5 weeks before had 4 weeks worth of eye drops to take. Your lady on the desk could not answer this, and gave me the general number of SpaMed to ring. (0330 0584280) I then stood in your car park ringing your head office I presume to ask if I needed eye drops. You could not have written this in a play, I have ever felt so ridiculous, when the answer must have been somewhere inside your building. The lady on the phone did help me with a 'No', but now I'm wondering if I should wait until after my post op assessment on 4/7 before getting my eyes tested, or go for an eye test after the 4 week period from my operation, which would be 17/6. Any why are they so different? Answers on a postcard to......And as a footnote; the Blood Transfusion people have stopped me donating for 2 months from that date in May, which I also find strange..

Friendly staff. Offered light refreshments. Very careful to have all personal details confirmed at every stage. The actual operation was painless and efficiently carried out and the post-operative care efficiently explained. All round excellent!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff were caring, reassuring, thoughtful and kind. Immaculate cleanliness and hygiene through out . Allquestions were answered and the process explained thoroughly. I can't thank you all enough! I can see colours again. Fantastic expert staff in all areas.I can't thank you enough.

Thank you for the care and expertise shown to me by the SpaMedica Team who looked after me recently. As an extremely nervous patient I found there was always someone to reassure me. The transport experience although long was just perfect. Thank you everyone concerned.

All staff were very kind and understanding from the porter at reception right through to the surgeon who carried out the procedure. Everything was fully explained and I was totally at ease. The result is amazing and I look forward to my other eye cataract being removed without trepidation.

Very welcoming staff. All very attentive and everything was explained very clearly at every move. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits available. All areas of the hospital were absolutely spotless

Impressed with the promptness of appointments. On the day, the care from reception through to operating theatre and after care was brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend SpaMedica Poole to friends and family,

My treatment at Spamedica Poole was second to none, every member of staff was so welcoming and professional, from the minute I walked in the door to when I left was so calming and relaxing, really felt at ease, a credit to the department.
