All staff were friendly, informative, supportive but remained professional at all times. Very reassuring in what could prove to be an anxious time for many. Lots of follow up advice if needed.

I had my right eye done at spamedica Haydock on Friday 1/11/2024. it was an unbelievable experience from going in. to leaving it all went like clockwork so smoothly with no hiccups .. 5 stars.. Thank you so much

From the front door to leaving the building at the end everyone was friendly, caring and helpful both at the assessment and the day of the ooeration. All sections of procedures at assessment were carefully explained. The same was true on the day of the operation. Their care is faultless. The facilites are outstanding and their care exceptional. All ready singing their praises and recommending them to others for future reference. Will not be anxious when I go to have my other cataract removed.

I have had cataracts removed from both eyes now, one in August and the other on 25th October. I attended the Haydock branch of SpaMedica and on both occasions have had the best treatment I could have hoped for. The place itself is spotless and all of the staff are friendly and reassuring. They explain fully everything that is going to happen and in my case everything went to plan and I can now see out of both eyes which is marvellous. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending SpaMedica to anyone in need of the eye surgery they offer.

If only the rest of the NHS were has good all would be well! The place, the staff, the quickness of dealing with people is exceptional. From being proposed for surgery it was a matter of DAY's before the initial assessment was done, then with in two weeks the operation took place, I just hope that the second operation is has quick and efficent! I would not hesitate to recomend this Establishment for eye treatment to anyone that needs it! The Haydock Establishment is very clean, the staff are very friendly and they go out off their way to help people, both patients and their relatives/friends.

i think the clinic and all the staff ,nurses and surgeons are amazing they really make you feel at ease while i had my cataract done i hate anything to do with eyes but it was good

Had my first eye surgery in early July and when I went for my 4 week post op check I was unfortunate to have some oedema on the inside rear of my eye on the macula area which Took three months of eye drops to settle it down. When I had my second eye surgery I thought I would have had a consultant take extra care due to my experience earlier. Instead I was told on the day that a registrar would be doing it. I was very anxious and the procedure took a lot longer than previously and very painful. If that had been my first experience I would have had to think twice about having the second one done. After talking to other patients they said they were asked when making their appointment if they minded having a registrar and refused. I was never asked. I must say though that post op experience was better than when a consultant did the first eye. I am only one day post op and feeling confident.

From the greeting at the entrance to reception and surgical staff, a friendly and comforting experience. I was very apprehensive of this procedure but the experience was eased by the contacts at all levels, /
