From getting the referral from the optician was very good. I was given an assessment appointment within a couple of days. Then an appointment for the operation a week later. I walked in the door and was offered refreshments. The staff were all very nice. The surgeon spoke to me all the time informing me what was happening which was really appreciated as I was very nervous. I would not hesitate to go there for my other eye done.

From consultation to operation the progress was seamless. Well run operation, friendly and helpful staff. The whole procedure was fully explained and you were made comfortable about what to expect. The admin is thorough. I attended for a consultation and 2 weeks later I had the operation. On the day I was treated with care and respect throughout. In all I was only in there for 2hrs 30 minutes from check in to discharge. The following day my eye was clear and painless. Thank you to all the staff

I can’t thank the staff enough for the excellent care that they provided to my anxious elderly Dad. All of the staff were friendly, attentive and comforting and put my Dad at ease from the moment we entered the building. The procedure itself only took 5 minutes and was a painless and comfortable experience. The information provided prior to and post procedure was clear and explained well. Thank you to the whole team for going above and beyond for my Dad and for also being so considerate of me as his carer.

From having my eye test to the actual op, it was efficient and quick. Staff was lovely - from the moment I walked in with the porter to the staff behind the scenes. This is how NHS care should be all around. The standards was very high and I have no complaints. Few days post op and I'm doing brilliant. I'll be back for my second eye soon and it's nice to not have anything to worry about. Painless, quick and very clean throughout. Faultless.

From first referral by my optician, it was just 2 days before Spa Medica called me to arrange a Pre-op Check - which was only 3 days later. A very thorough check, with explanations at each step and all questions willingly answered. The actual operation was the next week! Again after some final chceks and eyedrops, tI was taken through to the operating theatre where the consulatnt greeted me and explained what would happen. The actual operation was quick and free from any pain or sensation. The following day my vision was already excellent - I had not realised how out-of-focus things had become and the colour shift caused by the cataract From first contact onwards, Spa Medica provide you with lots of information and reassurance about the next step - typically a 20+ page booklet. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. You even get offered tea/coffee and biscuits while you wait. I can't recommend them highly enough

I had cataract surgery yesterday at the hospital and was quite nervous but put at ease by the very caring tentative staff. The procedure only took 10-15 minutes and was a little uncomfortable but not painful. I can’t thank them enough for all their help and kindness during my time there and would recommend to all my family and friends.

16 days between my annual eye test and having cataract surgery I had heard so many good reports from other SpaMedica patients and now I am another one. Everyone from the porter at the door to the surgeon in the theatre were very friendly, very professional and made me feel welcome. This was my first time - I will be returning but this time with no apprehension. Thank you to all

Less that 2 weeks from being referred to having surgery. The staff were lovely, very reassuring and helpful. The surgeon introduced himself and explained what would be happening and surgery took approx 20 mins. The discharge nurse explained clearly everything I needed to know about aftercare and the end result is brilliant. It has put my mind at rest about returning for the second cataract removal.

Was referred at the beginning of February and after assessment my surgery took place on the 28th. The attention and care to detail from the greeting at the door to all the staff was exceptional . Made to feel at ease immediately and coffee and bikkies provided. Every stage was thoroughly explained. The surgery took 8 minutes in total and the surgeon explains as he goes along every detail. Get my second consultation soon and will be having my second eye done within 5 weeks. Can't wait and stress free as you are so well looked after, it's amazing. Thanks to everyone who made it such a good experience
