Had a great experience at spa medica,staff were lovely,so quick to get an appointment only 2 weeks,I never felt a thing only took 5 mins, getting other eye done have no fear now of op, highly recommend this clinic.

I was very nervous having cataract surgery. All staff made me feel at ease and supported me through the procedure,holding my hand and giving me reassurance. Also the surgeon was lovely patient and supportive. Thank you

From being greeted at the door and saying goodbye I was treated with care , kindness and consideration. The staff are amazing, everything was explained fully at every stage of the process. I can’t recommend this hospital enough they are brilliant.

The service and staff are very efficient and friendly. I was welcomed on arrival and offered refreshments while I waited for my procedure. All staff members were very helpful and everything was explained. A problem arose during my procedure but the staff were very quick to react, assess and plan my follow on care which is a credit to all involved. I would have no hesitation in recommending or using the service again.

From start to finish of my cataract journey I simply can’t recommend this place enough. The welcome was warm and reassuring. The staff a delight and truly professional. The surgery was carried out with care and consideration. Having been initially quite nervous about the first procedure I couldn’t wait to get my second eye done. This is how a hospital visit should be. Thank you to all at Spa Medica Gateshead you are a credit to healthcare and I will tell anyone who will listen how great you all are. I

From the very first I was comfortable,relaxed and informed about the due procedures.Staff were welcoming cheerful and efficient in all they did.Made me forget why I was there!!

After having to cancel an appointment for surgery after a fall my availability was checked at intervals until I was fit enough to attend. The service was efficient, being handed from one staff member to the next with care. The surgery was explained at every stage with every attention to your comfort. Well done Spa Medica, I was impressed.

Yesterday I had the first of my cataract procedures. Right from the start the staff were very professional and friendly. My appointment was on time and the following procedure was quick and stress free. I can't wait to get my other eye fixed. Many thanks to all involved.

I had surgery to correct cataract in left eye. The service was second to none. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very caring and accommodating. Really great experience under the circumstances. Thank you so much.
