I was terrified of having cataract surgery however from first contact with the clinic to the completion of my surgery I was put at ease and treated with respect. The procedure was explained at every stage. The procedure was painless and aftercare was provided and fully explained to me. Every member of the team at the clinic, from the gentleman who greets you on arrival through to the surgeon were friendly and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend the clinic 100% to anyone who is needing them

after the experience i had SpaMedica , Chapel town ,i was loath to have my other eye done , but i have to say what a difference at ApaMedica Doncaster , from start to finish i was treated utmost respect and care , all the staff , i mean, all the staff were fantastic from reception through to the surgeon who realising that i was worried, talked me through the procedure step by step and put a me compleatley at ease, i can not praise the staff at SpaMedica Doncaster enough , thank you from both my wife and i .

They are very professional and the staff make you welcome from the moment I entered.The cataract operation was painless and they explain every step of the way to me in a calm and patient way I would recommend them anytime

Only one negative was the long waiting time from the pellet oin the eye to surgery. Two hours just sat in a waiting room with no fresh air and nothing to do. I became nauseating and finished with a headache, Idid receive paracetamol on request but having fibromyalgia I felt weak and I fell asleep. Some magazines to read would have been welcome. Everything else was really good from entering to surgery and after care. The staff and surgeon were excellent.

I had an excellent experience at Doncaster SpaMedica. All the staff were professional caring and polite. This was right from the "greeter" (a lovely man who made me feel welcome and provided hot drinks) right through to the discharge staff. Following the procedure on both of my cataracts, my eyesight is now greatly improved.

Everything about my experience from start to finish was great. The guy who came down to check me in was very friendly and put me at ease. The reception staff were all very professional and polite. I was early for my procedure and they were really accommodating, so the whole thing was carried out before my actual appointment time. The procedure literally took 2 minutes and was completely painless. I would highly recommend Spa Medica.

Further to my Surgery on 24 May 2024. While writing to the management of the Ophthalmology Department of a Teaching Hospital to thank them for their assistance, I had a couple of improvement points for their consideration. In my opinion, the most important one was, (15th May 2024) “SpaMedica Doncaster is so good, it would be worth a professional visit. Their online Comments book is amazing. I spent 30 years visiting hospitals in the Northern Hemisphere, from the worst to the best, they are up there with the very best.”

Everything worked like clockwork. Really make patients and visitors feel welcome. Diligent. Nothing too much trouble. Parking straight outside a real bonus as arrived stress free. Great location. Everyone from the lovely security door man to the reception and clinical staff were kind and professional. Thank you.
