I under went cataract surgery at Chester Spa Medica, the building is spotless the staff are very friendly and helpful. It didn't feel like you were herded together en mass for your treatment everything was very calm and each step explained in an easy to understand way. Even tho my original appointment was cancelled a new one was allocated 4 days later than the original so no complaints about waiting times. Overall a brilliant set up and although I was nervous I was'nt there long enough to become anxious. 5 stars from me.

This was my second cataract operation at the practice. Both times I received excellent care and treatment from all the staff. I was nervous but everyone put me at my ease. They were understanding and took time to explain everything to me. This experience was continued even by the persons doing the procedure. Thank you one an all, highly recommend.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes on separate occasions. Both times I got the appointment very quickly. The staff were lovely, bringing coffee and biscuits and the process was very efficient and professional. I was only there 2 hours the second time.! After care was explained well.

SpaMedica Chester is first rate. From the initial consultation through the reception and nurses to final cataract surgery by a top class surgeon there is a very professional , caring approach. The communication with the Optician was very efficient and speedy. Thank you to all the staff and surgeons for an excellent outcome - major improvement in both eyes.

I had severe worries about having my cataract procedure carried out despite Spa Medica Chester being highly recommended by friends and aquaintances. I needn't have worried, as all my queries were answered fully, both from the very thorough initial consultation and examination, to the actual procedure two weeks later. All went so smoothly and I was able to obtain a mild sedative before any work started, which set my mind fully at rest. All was very painless, the anaesthetics obviously worked as expected, and the actual operation seemed to be over in a very short time with minimum discomfort. On release from the surgeon the improvement in my vision was apparent very quickly and in particular the clarity and colour vision in the operated eye. Altogether an amazing experience and definitely one to be recommended. Many thanks to everyone at Spa Medica who contributed with much kindness, personal care and attention to this novel experience and what seems to be a great success for me.

Just had my second cataract operation again cannot fault anything from the cleanliness of the place reception all the nursing staff and surgeon.From the start because I had no transport I was picked up by an Uber taxi who was on time going and coming home and were very pleasant. The reception were pleasant and efficient and the nurses all were so lovely it was just so a well run team so thank you to you all for making the experience a good one.Mrs Wendy Moir

From the very first contact and appointment I could not fault the whole SpaMedica Chester experience. Very professional, supportive and caring - every member of staff is to be commended and thanked. I felt very relaxed and confident about what to expect and I cannot recommend the staff, hospital and process enough. I had both cataract operations there and it was all arranged very, very quickly and conveniently. If only all hospital experiences were of the same standard! Thank you.

The whole team were friendly, polite and professional. I felt I was being well looked after from the moment I walked into reception and throughout the entire process. Cannot recommend the team at Chester highly enough. I can now see clearly again without the need for glasses etc. Thank you!
