I had cataract surgery on my right eye undertaken by Spa Medica & the service they provided couldn't be faulted. All the staff were friendly, helpful & courteous. Everything was properly explained & nothing was rushed. That said for the operation itself I was in & out in little over an hour. Brilliant!

I was a little nervous undertaking this procedure. I was treated very well and very much put at ease and so pleased that I had it done this was my second one and quite amazing what a difference having the second one done much better after the first eye being done but having the second one done so much better. A Big thank you.

I had my 1st cataract op 3 days ago. I cannot believe how painless the whole experience was, from the friendly professional staff,to the actual procedure. Every step of the way was easy. The surgeon who performed the op was friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. He even cracked a couple of jokes to make me feel better. Three days in and I have had no pain or discomfort, so I cannot recommend SpaMedica enough. Thank you.

After having both cataracts done at this location,l cannot speak highly of the wonderful service and friendly staff that I received on all the occasions l visited the clinic.They made me very welcome,even on my first visit,when l arrived quite late.I got a friend to take me when l had my first cataract done, and we were able to park right outside.After going in to Five different rooms to see members of staff,l came out a lot quicker than I expected.

My whole experience at Spa Medica in Chelmsford was excellent. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and professional, explaining what they were doing and what happened next. The passage through the pre assessment was smooth and stress free. The procedure was similarly straightforward and because of the way the staff were, was also stress free and painless. The outcome was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to have my second eye treated. Richard Hill

I had a referral from my optician for Cataract surgery, I had my pre surgery appointment at SpaMedica Chelmsford. The next week I had surgery. Everyone at the practice were all very pleasant and caring. Thanks to the staff.

Attended today for cataract surgery. Everyone was so friendly from arriving and being greeted by a charming guy , to the lady on reception. The procedure was carried out efficiently and the nurses and the surgeon explained clearly. Thank you

I've now attended many clinics at SpaMedica, and had two cataract operations. Yesterday, whilst attending SpaMedica for my second and final cataract operation I arrived at the hospital in New London Rd and to my dismay was told that they had moved premises early in the new year to a new address 1/2 mile up the road. It's hitherto been unheard of for SpaMedica to be amiss in any aspect of care, aspecially comunication, but in this case something was awry, as they failed to inform me, or any of the other patients I spoke to of their change of address. This was the first time in four years of treatment I have had any cause for complaint. The services they offer are normally faultless. Every member of staff, from Welcoming, Reception, Opthalmology, Pre Op, Surgery, and Post Op. are Friendly, Informative, Accomodating, Courteous, and Efficient. Keep it up SpaMedica, and thank you.
