I had two medical issues, which required a face to face appointment, so I could be examined for both issues. I had my telephone consultation and was told to come to the surgery the same morning, which was fantastic, until I was told that only one of my issues could be dealt with and I would have to make another appointment for the other problem, which is absolutely ludicrous, as for the sake of an additional 5 or 6 minutes, I now have had to make another face to face appointment, which to be honest, could have been given to someone else. It’s frustrating enough waiting for a GP to call you, but having to do this two days running, has really made me angry, as I had to re arrange my morning, as I couldn’t risk, missing the phone call. All of the staff at the surgery are excellent, it’s the procedures, I am fuming with. I’m assuming this must have already been asked, but why can’t patients have a time slot for telephone consultations?
