I am writing as a father of 2 young children and a carer to a disabled partner. I have not yet had any real interaction with this practice so my feedback is limited. I have found an issue, which although is small and easily and understandably overlooked, it is something which may put people, especially, vulnerable people at potentially massive disadvantage. The issue is, the available forms of making contact. On the website, it is very limited and doesn't provide a direct and easy way to make contact, request information, make any request such as an appointment or request repeat prescriptions. there seems to only be 2 options. 1 telephone which is standard and essential 2 self referal page which allows a person to directly apply to services locally. What is missing is any form to submit a message to the practice which is something that could be easily done and would only have a small and manageable increase in admin The second missing thing, is slightly more serious. Email address. I have spent some time looking, and there doesn't seem to be any email address available. This is something which I think is wrong, inconsiderate and possibly negligent. In modern day we should be considerate of people who are technologically illiterate, people who only have learned basic IT skills such as emails. So for a health service provider to not share their email in a way that is easily found is, in my opinion inconsiderate. In this case, it seems they haven't shared their email address at all, which is negligent. I am writing this as a parent, guardian and carer, but I would also like to share that I have worked in health and social care sector supporting vulnerable people and I currently work with NHS England as a patients and public voice partner. So, I am writing this detailed feedback not to reprimand or paint a negative light but to encourage and prompt improvement. Please provide an email, and make it easily found.
