After being told I was been seen 6 weeks after my brain operation, I was told it would be 4 months. Emails were sent to secretary requesting that the appointment be brought forward. It wasn’t. The day before the appointment, it was put back a further 2 weeks!

Two weeks after a telephone appointment, I am still waiting for my care plan. After calling Orsborne House and waiting on hold for half an hour, the receptionist told me that the GP was sent a letter and that was it. I had to remind the receptionist that as a patient I am entitled to a personal copy if my care plan. She said that she would send one out. I then asked why once again it is up to me to make sure that the NHS does its job she put the phone down on me. It would appear that the trust employs staff who have no idea of what patients are entitled to. Why has it taken a phone call from me 2 weeks after the consultation to get people to do their job? . It seems that nothing has changed in the disorganisation of Orsborne House even after a pandemic.
