Very professional & friendly staff who explain the procedures carefully & put you at your ease. I am able to now see distances clearly with my right eye. I have already been contacted with an appointment for the cataract operation on my other eye, as I now have an imbalance in sight in four weeks time. Couldn't be happier.

From my first contact to my discharge after the op was finished was excellent regarding staff friendliness and competence. The facilities are new and parking is plentiful. I especially appreciated the surgeon informing me of what she was doing throughout the op. There was not much time sitting waiting which is admirable. Many thanks for the care and service I received.

From initial pre-op to actual surgery every step was explained and in a really assuring way which was really helpful. All the staff were brilliant and I would recommend this facility for looking after their patients.

All of the staff were very friendly and patient. When my other eye needs to be done I will definitely be going back to Newmedica to have it done

I am full of high praise for the team at Newmedica in Shrewsbury. From the first phone call to a brilliant outcome, everyone has been kind, professional, efficient and friendly. Everyone wanted the best care and outcome, the smallest of kind acts were offered and given with a warm smile to ensure I was relaxed and comfortable. Explanations were given well easing my anxiety. The consultant made sure she understood my needs to help her select the best lens for me, she spoke calmly and soothingly to ensure I was at ease during the procedure. The nurses were wonderful, ensuring my needs were met (including a cushion under my knees while I was lying flat - bliss). The team deserves to be proud knowing they provide a high class service. I am struggling to find the words that they truly deserve. Thank you so much.

I had my cataracts done Oct and Jan of this year. My experience was brilliant. Absoulutely brilliant. They are so professional and what lovely people. So friendly made me feel at ease. Highly recommend them. Thank you so much

I was petrified of having my eye operated on. From the outset the staff were all amazing, putting me at ease. A staff member even held my hand throughout the procedure.

I recently had surgery for cataracts, at every stage of the process all of the staff were fantastic. Clear information and support throughout which was particularly good as I am phobic about any procedures involving my eyes. Very highly recommended…
