First class service- totally professional with friendly, efficient staff. From visiting the optician, being referred then having the operation done was only three weeks, amazing. No after effects and after only three days the difference is unbelievable.The whole process is faultless and a follow up call the day after the op is a nice touch. Thank you to all the staff involved, much appreciated.

We attended the Newmedica Eye Health Clinic & Surgical Centre Plymouth because my husband required a cataract operation, and he had been referred there because of its great reputation. We found the experience particularly good. Parking was no problem there, and when we went in, the receptionists were very welcoming. The waiting area was calming, and well lit with comfortable seating. We were seen on time, by friendly helpful staff, and my husband was very reassured by the whole process, especially as he had had a really bad experience in the past at another hospital when his other eye had needed a cataract removed. He came away feeling much more positive and relaxed about having another cataract procedure.

The thought of eye surgery under local anaesthetic was very daunting but the staff at NewMedica were fantastic in explaining the process and allayed all my fears and concerns. The surgery itself took 20mins from the time i walked into theatre to the time i walked out and there was no pain or discomfort during the procedure at all. Within 24 hrs my eye seemed to have recovered - no soreness, redness or anything to indicate I'd had eye surgery the previous day. The improvement in my sight is incredible and I'm looking forward to getting my other eye fixed now

I had a cataract removed and was so nervous but everyone put me at ease. Will have the second one removed in two months without a second thought. Thank you to all the staff

Having a severe spinal problem, my concern was with having to lie flat for appropriate time. All issues resolved in this regard with me feeling able to concentrate on the cataract procedure. Staff at all levels very professional and genuine in their care for me, as a patient. Not hurried through any element of attending the Centre. Have to have the other eye attended to in, hopefully six weeks or so and have no concerns at all with the forthcoming procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending friends to Newmedica.

I would like to thank the consultant and staff at the centre for all their excellent care and professionalism during my treatment. All the staff from reception to the nurses were caring efficient and friendly and made you feel at ease. The procedure itself by the consultant was so efficient and professional. My vision has improved so much. I would highly recommend New Medicare. Once again thank you all.
