I had a cataract removed at the clinic and was very impressed with all aspects of my care. The staff were respectful and caring and went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and stress free. The following day I could see perfectly and have had no pain or discomfort at all. Thank you to everyone at Newmedica Barlborough

I had my first cataract operation at New Medica a few months ago so was familiar with the brilliant care given by all staff. Extremely well organised and I was informed at every stage what was happening. Very clean and well controlled infection risk during Covid, felt very safe. It was a very positive experience and comforting to know they were on the end of the phone if any problems, which I didn't need as operations went without a hitch. Thank you.

I attended for my second cataract operation. The new building looked first rate. The staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. Great consideration was given for my comfort as for medical reasons have difficulty laying flat. I couldn’t fault the staff or surgeon.

The staff were very welcoming and gave me the information I needed. The service is efficient from a patiient perspective and hospital is very clean it seems well run.
