After trying to get sick note for over 4 days an email arrived late and had to explain to work about it, today i waited for a phonecall all morning only to be to told I missed 2 calls, strange that I had no voice messages and no missed calls from them. What a waste of a good building

  2. Review titled Poor, uncaring, unbothered, slow.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I arrived at 4.03pm for a 4.00pm appointment due to slightly late taxi. I was stood in line for just over 10 minutes as the sign in panel screen told me to wait for reception. The receptionist was incredibly slow, didn't seem to care or focus on assisting people efficiently. After dealing with the previous two people, took minutes to address me coming in for an appointment. Told me to sit down and wait whilst he went to go ask the physiotherapist if they can still see me. For some reason this took them multiple minutes rather than just quickly asking. At this stage it was close to 4.20pm and was told due to the time I would have to re-book. I'm shocked at just how slow everything was moving, how little the receptionst seemed to care about me and the two previous people in the queue. I asked if there were any slots available later in the day and was given an odd attitude about if I was going to wait. Rather than checking if a slot was open and asking if I would be okay to wait they just looked at me weirdly and saying "you want to wait!?". Well yes of course, if it was reasonable. Why not just check how long I may have to wait and see if I'm okay with it? If I was offered another appointment here I would refuse and ask to be appointed else, it really was that poor.

  3. Review titled Going Downhill

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Used to be the best practice in the area. Now it’s dreadful at best. If you can manage to get through to speak to someone, you’re very lucky. I’ve given up and just driven down it’s quicker! When you do get through it’s almost impossible to make anyone understand what it is you need. If you want an appointment you’re told no ring back tomorrow, no advice on what to do in the meantime. So very unhelpful when you’re unwell. The most important thing about any doctors practice is the answering system and getting through in a timely way. The second is speaking to someone who understands what you’re asking, doesn’t put you on hold whilst they get advice and so,vets any problems that you have. This practice no longer does what it used to do. It’s such a shame.

  4. Review titled special measures

Rated 1 star out of 5

i have been with this surgery for many years and i can honestly say its shocking and needs to be in special measures there is no follow-up it does not matter how ill you are whether you have cancer or anything it does not matter, the receptionists are worse than useless and don't even answer the phones whoever is the practice manager needs sacking and replacing, this was once a great surgery with great care for patients and so sad to see it go so far downhill.

  6. Review titled Very understanding

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have found the receptionists very understanding and professional and when needing call from gp this has been extremely timely. In view of current climate and difficult times I have found my gp surgery extremely supportive which I'm very grateful for

  7. Review titled Out of Date technology

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have tried so many times to contact this surgery, the phone system is impossible, first the phone msg is contradictory re Covid advice, secondly you are told you are ‘x’ in the queue fair enough, half and hour later when get near to the end instead of the msg the phone line rings out - this happens time & time again. There is no online system. We have tried to visit the surgery to make an appointment - not allowed in - just how are we supposed to make an appointment for a non urgent issue. It’s beyond a joke, in the days of Zoom calls and online booking systems this surgery is behind the times , needs investment to bring it up to scratch. However the surgery does love to send letters to you to say you haven’t been in touch to book an appointment, how about save the postage costs buy a phone instead

Asked for an appointment and explained a&e doctors told me to contact my gp after I leave due to my issues and potential fear of me having a small brain bleed and got the receptionist told me there is nothing they can do and to call another day while I am actively in pain.
