    I was at work when I became ill. couldn’t wait 4 hours in A&E, my GP practice was closed. Had to wait 3 hours for the complete service here which is why I can’t give top marks. Also I thought it was a walk in centre but it turns out that you ring 111 and they will make you an appointment. I wish I’d known that but I do now. The staff however !!! were so professional, they were undoubtedly a cohesive team, which I imagine is very important in a vulnerable isolated ‘out of hour’ situation. I loved that the person who saw me sought advice/guidance/second opinion from his colleague. I was shattered and cold by 9pm but felt respected, valued and actively listened to. A lot of people turned up with ‘issues’ but when told there would be a 2 hour wait they didn’t want to and left.? This is an amazing place I hope people will only use it in a crisis, it’s such a valuable resource in these days of austerity and ongoing cut backs. Thank you so much.

We always endeavor to provide a high level of quality, safe, professional, timely and compassionate care and are always pleased when patients and their families take the time to let us know how we did. It is always pleasing when we receive reports about staff to thank them for their input and this often proves to be very motivational for them.
