    1. Waiting for more than 5 months for any treatment/councilling. 2. You can't be added to a waiting list until you have completed one of the treatments/councilling. 3. Intensive support courses are way too short and Not backed up by proper after care. You are given paperwork to read, when what you actually need is a person to support you until you are Realistically capable and can manage on your own. 4. You are given the telephone numbers for the Crisis team - They won't help you until you are so bad it's too late. Samaritans - volunteers who aren't clinically trained or qualified to deal with any complex conditions. They're ok if you are lonely. 5. You are sent to charity groups which are ok if you are just lonely or a bit depressed. Again there is nowhere in Fylde for people who are suffering with Ptsd, depression, anxiety etc, Complex cases. These can't be fixed by a 6 day course or 12 weeks of interrupted councilling. There needs to be a sustained support network and some relevant groups. 6. None of the organisations i.e. Gp, psyciatrist, Mind Matters, Ats, Crisis Team, Social inclusion talk to each other. There needs to be proper collaborative case management meetings with all parties for a full and proper, sustained treatment plan. 7. Stop being made to feel like you are making things up, or continually told "have you not read the paperwork or watched the videos, or been back to your Gp etc" Not everyone has the learning, understanding or even the concentration needed to be able to do this, but can and are More than willing to Talk. Isn't that what all the media campaigns are telling men, children etc to do, even Walkers crisp adverts! 8. Gp Stop saying we don't have magic pills. Most people don't want to even be taking any kind of medication. Being put on tablets which can cause problems with your kidneys or liver and you are not under review to make sure they aren't harming you. 9. Stop saying " well you have family and/ or friends" Yes and they do offer support, but they are Not medically trained and it can be embarrassing, making you feel ashamed for feeling how you do and even those who love you feel helpless and lost as they don't know or understand what is going on in your head. 10. It's like being on a merry go round you can't get off. You just keep getting fobbed off and sent back round each group. i.e. GP sends you to the Start Team, they send you to Mind Matters, they send you to charity groups, then you go back to Gp etc. And inbetween all these you have to wait 5 months or more before you seen any of them. 11.You don't break your leg and get told you have to wait 5 months for a plaster cast, or a year for phyisio!
