I called 111 re my elderly Mum who had a chesty cough and was deteriorating on Sunday. We had a callback from a lovely Dr who asked me to take Mum down to the Urgent Care Centre for review. He was very thorough and kind. We were home with antibiotics within an hour.

A friend who was visiting the area had a rather nasty fall resulting in a cut and painful knee. She was seen promptly in the Urgent Care Department and received a very thorough examination including an x-ray, and had her wound cleaned and dressed. She was then given clear advice about how to manage the wound for the next few days and went on her way reassured and much more comfortable. Everyone, from the receptionist to the nurse she saw and the radiographer was friendly, professional, polite and kind. We were all most impressed. Thank you
