During April 2023, I needed the support of the Home Treatment Team at The Ladywell Unit. Over a period of just over two weeks, I was seen numerous times in quick succession by experienced mental health professionals including : several mental health nurses,a psychologist and a psychiatrist. The treatment was exceptional and helped me through a challenging period. Every member of staff in The Ladywell Unit treated me with professionalism, compassion and empathy. They further provided me with helpful and relevant tools and advice. The reception team polite and the volunteers in the cafe welcoming and friendly. The building was always clean and calm. The Ladywell Unit is a credit to Lewisham Hospital and the NHS and is a model of how to deal with an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. I feel very fortunate to have received treatment from the Unit. Thankyou

Calling to self refer in crisis. I am put on the line with somebody and can hear screaming and shouting in the background, it’s distressing and confusing. The man on the phone only says ‘I’m very sorry call back later if you can hear me’. I feel left with no other options

my daughter got bad infection as she was in Evan's ward over month and in other one 2 months dirty toilet and mostly dirty showers no one clean there unbelievable my daughter suffer bec of them in both legs infection I have to pay cabs to hospital emergency now !! it hospital for mentaly sick women it shut be clean everywhere specially toilets and showers
