A great hospital in the local community however when visiting today I was left thinking about how I was left in a potentially confrontational situation whereby when entering the changing room for the Xray, I was lead into the small room by a male member of staff who proceeded to lock the door behind us (with the other door also shut at this time). Whilst I was safe and nothing happened I can see this would make many feel uncomfortable but could also potentially lead to accusations against the staff member. I feel that going forward it may be safer for all if the patient is invited to lock the door themself and perhaps leave the other door open until the staff member leaves the room. I’ve always had great service from this hospital but can see how these actions could potentially cause problems for both parties.

Attended for ultrasound and X-ray, my appointment time was prompt and the service, friendliness and professionalism of the staff member was second to none.
