Review titled Shocking service
Rated 1 star out of 5

Been under dermatology since June last year. Had a review in Jan 2025 and told I need an urgent biopsy on my face due to BCC. 6 weeks down the line I’m still waiting and chasing This urgent biopsy. Everytime I call I get told I’m top of the list but no surgeon to do the procedure and I just have to wait. No compassion nor no end in sight to get this done. I’ve emailed the governance team to raise my concerns on lack of appts and clinical staff to carry out this procedure and urgency for my biopsy and have not had no reply.the most shocking service and communication skill in any clinical setting I have ever been under. Raising a complaint via my own GP about this as it’s disgusting no one can return my email or look into this further.

Review titled Very unprofessional
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Adela Navarro - Posted on 15 February 2025
I attended an appointment for which, unfortunately, I was 10 minutes late. Fully expecting to wait longer or reschedule due to my tardiness, as mentioned in my letter, I was prepared for any consequences. To my surprise, there was no one else waiting, and the receptionist promptly called me in upon hearing my arrival. However, she did not make eye contact and continued to look at her mobile phone for the next two minutes while I stood in front of her. When she finally acknowledged me, she remarked, "You are late." I profusely apologized, only for her to respond, "You are very late." I reiterated my apologies for being 10 minutes late. Throughout the consultation, she continued to reply to texts on her mobile phone, claiming it was her manager. This experience made me feel unwelcome and like a burden. There was no empathy or kindness, and the service felt completely unprofessional.

Review titled Awful practitioner
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 March 2025
Had an appointment and the dermatologist was awful, she was really rude and horrible. Gaslight me and literally didn’t even examine me properly, didn’t even look or touch the area that was meant to be examined. Looked from aware and just said you’re fine. Tried to explain everything that she suggested I had already tried and nothing had work but she just dismissed me, came away from the appointment crying and feeling worse than before. She should not be allowed to see patients.

Review titled Disorganised!
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have been on roaccutane for my acne since January and didn't have any issues until recently. The doctor did not write that my pregnancy test result when they sent my prescription, therefore, legally the pharmacist could not release my prescription to me. I called the community dermatologist number straight away to resolve this and they said they would contact the doctor I saw at the Annexe. I called 3 more times as the chemist still hadn't received the updated prescription. I have now been without my medication for 2 weeks and a half weeks and still hasn't been resolved! Absolutely ridiculous, there should be a direct contact if there are issues like this.

Review titled Worst experience
Rated 1 star out of 5

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had within the NHS. Impossible to get an appointment for bloods or with the dermatologist even though they are aware I need to go monthly. Really unhelpful staff. This has all lead to me going days without my medication. Really unpleasant experience overall. I would advise going private because this is very distressing
