   I am trying to get appointment to be seen by doctor for over 2 years(since before the pandemic).I am not for the emergency services but suspecting slowly developing diabetes and thyroid problems . The very few times i was able to actually get connected i was every time being rejected appointment and consultation with doctor even after i told them that i am self medication my condition after throughout research on the Internet and asking for further blood tests and analysis, consultation. I am myself not getting any better hence the medications i need are obtained only by prescription (in fact in this country the only prescription free medications are paracetamol and aspirin unfortunately) . However i can live with it one way or another but when it comes down to children it is completely different. My 1 year old kid is ill last couple of days , nothing visible to worry about but however his breathing is heavy with chesty coughs ,crackling and whistling sounds . Now comes the funny part . If you call them before 8 o'clock they wouldn't bother to answer even if someone is there ...understandable practice starts 8 am . And yet at exact 8 o'clocks lucky connection we are being informed that there are no more available appointments for the day and we should call next morning. This was happening for 2 days in a row and when we try to explain our situation with the kid we are being told that if it is emergency to go to hospital or to call an Ambulance. God bless the kid is not in any life threatening situation so far and yet we are being asked to call emergency services and while out there might be real life threatening issue relying on paramedics. If you turn up at their doorstep regardless the time before or after 8 am or whatsoever time of the day you will be always turned back and asked to do appointment over the phone. Now i am asking what is the use of such practice which never answer the phone , even if they answer before the practice starts they are already "booked" all appointments for the day ....so we are stuck with useless health centre which wouldn't care for anybody and anything going around with the health of the people...
