Review titled Very poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Michael Hughes - Posted on 30 April 2025
My wife was in a mental hospital for 4 months when she was discharged we were told we would have home support and a health coordinator. We had a home visit 48 hours after discharge and then a phone call lasting 2 minutes the following week that was over 6 weeks ago nothing since. I think she was discharged from hospital to quickly & it may look like she will need to return the NHS mental health services is in a very bad state and needs immediate attention.

Dear Mr Hughes Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very sorry that your wife and yourself have received no further support from EPUT services. I will forward your feedback onto the team. I would encourage you to contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Team (PALS) Tel: 0800 085 7935 or email epunft.pals@nhs.net as they will be able to look into this matter further for you. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. The Patient Experience Team

Review titled Grays hall counselling is awful!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 September 2024
After struggling mentally for over a year and trying to get help I finally heard back from someone who was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone. They needed to do a face to face appointment but after being extremely ill I called to say I wouldn’t be able to attend and they said they would book me a new appointment. The same day around 3 hours later I had another doctor call me being extremely rude telling me it doesn’t matter if I’m ill I was meant to be there at that appointment and it’s no excuse. With my anxiety that really set me off with the way I’d been spoken to and way I’d been treated by the staff at grays halls. I decided to tell them to take my off the list for counselling as I don’t want help from someone who is so rude and disrespectful

Review titled Terrible service but typical for EPUT

I get a referral made by a GP then get someone calling me up for a welfare check and asking if I ok. I say no and why and then they say “good luck with that” then later go on to discharge me with no explanation as to why and then the staff member says I sound paranoid (they have investigated nothing about what I was telling them so should not ever dare to write such nonsense onto a record without verifying anything). Then why would you discharge someone anyway if they sound paranoid - isn’t it the opposite that happens? Then later on they try and pretend there is something they are doing only after much persistence from me towards the GP and trying to prevent Grays Hall from hiding things from medical records. They are always hiding things sent to them from records and also direct responses and even letters and complaints.
