    Wath on Dearne surgery, receptionist poor attitude, didn’t want to help until I tried to walk out, very frustrating to deal with, Also trying to get an appointment in a one hour window is beyond stupid, it’s as if they don’t want you as patients, very poor service, Doctors need to change staff culture.

    Called the practice at 16:08 hrs today, automated service informed me I was 7th in the queue. After 20 mins of irritating music and too frequent reminders that my call was important to them, I was 1st in the queue. Sudden my phone went to ring tone, and it rang, and rang and rang with no-one answering. After 5 minutes, I hung up and dialled again. The automated service informed me that I was 7th in the queue. This is not a one off occurrence. Please don’t tell me you have one person on the phone and managing the reception desk! This was not even rush hour.

    The surgery is pleasant and the doctors are lovely. However, the music played in the waiting area is awful! It’s a pop radio station, often with songs that have inappropriate lyrics. I’m sure patients would prefer something more pleasant, such as Classic.

    These are fantastic doctors once you manage to get to see one. It’s almost impossible, they release routine appointments once a week 12 mid day Tuesday and to get one you need to go down and join the long queue and then it will be two weeks ago. They are very bad at answering the telephone, rang today at bang up 8 am the opening time and it was 15 mins before anyone answered. I have actually put a complaint in about the situation but it was a waste of time
