Best thing I learned from going there, was always rely and look after yourself. Nobody else does. I was told I could refer back if I needed help. So I did, went through all the processes. Waited a long time and got an appointment, with the therapist I wanted, only then to be told it's not possible to go back to the therapist I trusted at the time. As there was no availability, but previously over the phone the receptionist was telling me all the free appointment dates and actually booked me a session with the therapist. Then called back immediately, cancelled my appointment, started saying other sessions with different therapists are available, as something had clearly been said, as the phone call lasted no longer than a few minutes. At that point I lost all faith and trust in any therapist and therapy. It's hard enough getting to a stage when youre comfortable talking, and then they do that. As I was told I could go back to the same one, when they clearly had no intention of it. So why lie to me? Just be honest as there was a reason behind it. I felt like I deserved honesty, especially as open and honest as i was, when i went through it. As to be honest it did help at the time, but now I wouldn't bother. As I would now feel uncomfortable. I'd rather struggle than get treated like that again. Very disappointing.
