  1. Review titled Blood Test

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Michelle Constable - Posted on 15 November 2023

I had my blood test completed by the Nurse who was very kind but I’m not too sure where she sent my bloods to as when I went for my appointment with my Doctor 5 days later there were not any blood test results for me- I have therefore got to go through the whole process again & wait another 2 weeks which will be in total a whole month to wait again. Really not very happy with this service especially as I had to travel out of my Town to get to the Clinic in another Town.

  2. Review titled Thank you to every one

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The district nurses who help my husband during his illness and sadly his end of life were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and expertise. With the help of them and St Francis Hospice my husband was at home where he wanted to be. Thank you too, to the kind people on the phone during this time.

Visited Elm Park today for a blood test. The team here are amazing. Receptionist was so friendly and helpful, awesome. The nurse who took my blood was amazing. Talked me through the whole thing. Chatted, Laughed, joked and was so professional. Didn’t feel a thing. Thank you so much. Amazing ladies

  4. Review titled Rude phlebotomist

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 May 2022

Upon entering the room, no greeting, I sat down in the chair, the phlebotomist was sat at the desk facing the wall and didn’t even turn around to face me, I didn’t notice that she had a hand out behind her, she then barked “form”. Still no other conversation. She then took my arm and abruptly said “fist” did the blood test with no other conversation than “stop doing a fist” as though I should have known when she wanted me to do this. Her final words to me were “you can leave”. I have a chronic disease and have a lot of blood tests, this was by far the rudest person I have encountered. It was wasn’t busy, so that is no excuse. I know it’s a cliche but manners cost nothing. For some elderly people this might be the only interaction that have over a few days. Think about the impact that you might have on someone’s day.
