   First, let me compliment the Unit staff for their patient care which was exemplary, providing the right level of information for a reassuring experience. The latest Philips UK MRI scanner is superb (instructions are multi-lingual if required and you get a choice of music). Scans take about 10-15 minutes. Simultaneous images are monitored on-screen by the clinician in the observation room. A preceding patient informed me that he almost fell asleep during the process reassuring me that his experience was totally stress-free. Whilst none of us may choose an MRI, this state-of-the-art, impressive kit makes it effortless.
