I have been a patient at this surgery for nearly 15 years and I cannot thank them enough. The reception staff are polite and friendly and all the doctors and nurses are exceptional at what they do, and always go that extra mile. Thank you.

Barrier after barrier is put in your way of seeing a doctor. On phoning for an appointment, I was told to use the website instead. I knew this was incorrect as only blood clinic appointments are available on line. On challenging the Care Navigator, she insisted doctors’ appointments would be available online from 8am the next day. This wasn’t true. She also told me I shouldn’t be wasting the doctor’s time with my issue and should see a pharmacist instead. In actual fact I have been advised by the local pharmacist that I need to speak to my GP as my repeat prescription has been cancelled plus I have health issues I need to discuss. On mentioning this, the Care Navigator still insisted I go to see a pharmacist. I’d be interested to know what medical qualifications she has that enable her to overrule a qualified pharmacist. On phoning again at 8am the following day, I found I was 25th in the queue which, based on my previous call would have meant me hanging on for an hour and a half for an appointment that was unlikely to exist by the time I got through. I hung up.
