   I have been informed this is an ongoing problem with other surgeries/practices too. Wrongly informed i can only get a sick note from 119 re covid related illness. This, I found confusing and extremely annoying when I have had ongoing issues since November 2020 due to covid and mostly dealt with by Gp surgery until referral eventually made to long covid clinic. So tail between my legs, I went off to ring 119, who informed me they do not and never have dealt with covid related sick notes. Even though my surgery informed me " it as always been the case with covid". Fast forward to upto date info for anyone who needs sick cover for covid positive with symptoms. Go onto nhs website and search; Isolation note Your welcome
