   My partner had made an appointment for herself and our two children to have a routine dental check-up. Due to unexpected financial difficulties, she had to cancel her appointment as we were unable to afford the cost. She communicated this matter with the receptionist, knowing that discussing money can be sensitive. However, the receptionist made a loud and public announcement that she found my partner's reason unacceptable and insufficient, causing her to feel embarrassed and diminished. Subsequently, my partner had to wait in the reception area, surrounded by other individuals, after being subjected to this rude and arrogant behavior. It is disheartening that someone would consider it appropriate to publicly shame someone for their inability to pay for necessary dental treatments. As a result of this experience, I have decided not to return to this dental practice, and it is evident that the staff would greatly benefit from customer service training, particularly considering that this practice is part of our 'National Health Service'.
