Review titled Fabulous staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 April 2025
I brought my son into Bransholme urgent care this morning as he required an X-ray on his injured foot. We were told there was a three hour wait time. The staff there are so patient and kind . The waiting area is spotlessly clean, as are the toilets . There’s a place to get a hot drink and drinking water is available. Whilst we were waiting an elderly gentleman asked the staff how much longer he’d have to wait as he has diabetes and would need to eat soon. The staff came around the counter and offered him biscuits and a coffee, then even managed to produce a small snack. Not only did the lady make this all part of the service she thanked the gentleman for advising them (the staff) of his condition. I feel like this centre and the staff have it completely right, the patients are treated with care from the moment they arrive. Old fashioned care from true professional people . My son was seen within the three hours (as advised) and we were on our way again.

Review titled Condescending and anxiety inducing
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Andrew Dixon - Posted on 19 May 2023
Received a callback from 111. Medical advisor invited me to come to the practice for a checkup. I informed them that I can't walk there for mental health reasons and can't afford a taxi. I also pointed out that in my experience, it's not a safe area to walk through at night. Their response was 'well, that's your choice then'. It's not my choice, and I'm extremely disappointed that they could have been so callous. How can they not see that I'm more terrified of walking long distances than risking dying from asphyxiation in my sleep? They should be sacked, they have a terrible bedside manner. I'm beginning to get used to this dismissive attitude from these 'emergency care' scenarios. To be frank, I feel suicidal now. Thanks for that, my friend in America did more to help me than you did. On a brighter note, they did call back quickly, but holy moly, that's like saying 'at least they punched me early and didn't keep me waiting'.
