    Appointment time at 9:30 didn’t get seen until 11:30 and then went in for surgery at 4pm, had to wait in dark room with very uncomfortable chairs and tv that only had the news on. Received no explanation for why the waiting time was so long, seemed to be the norm. That wasn’t even the worst of it. Was suppose to be sedated however it didn’t work and when I tried to tell them it hadn’t worked no one did anything then the local anaesthetic also didn’t work I was crying in pain struggling to stay still whilst the surgery was happening. Afterwards no one could explain why the sedation hadn’t worked and didn’t receive much comfort to try and calm me down afterwards as I was hyperventilating. All nurses previously had told me I wouldn’t feel a thing and the sedation would make it so that I was so out of it I’d have no clue what was happening and little memory of the surgery however I remember everything. I have no words to explain just how awful the experience was and I truly would have never put myself through it if I’d known that was how it was going to be.

    The staff there are so welcoming and patient, I struggled taking the pills before the surgery because I was being sick and they sat and helped me through it. The whole process was so quick but not at all rushed and the staff made sure I knew exactly what was going on through every point. The surgery itself took under 10 minutes from when I went under till I woke up, plus I got a hot chocolate and snacks after.

    Can’t rate the staff enough for how supportive and caring they was when going through something as challenging as this. Was made to feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I arrived and everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was okay throughout. Fantastic team can’t thank them enough.

    I couldn’t thank the staff at the Merseyside clinic for all the care and dedication towards my treatment and time at the clinic they were so supportive and kind also the hot chocolates are gorgeous I’d recommend bpas to any of my friends and family after the wonderful support I had for my treatment I give all my love to the staff there

    I visited the clinic this morning and just wanted to say the biggest thank you to the two ladies who saw me. I was immediately put so at ease the care and compassion they showed me made the absolute biggest difference to my experience and I am so grateful.

    I can’t thank the staff at this practice enough for their professionalism and compassion. They made one of the hardest days of my life bearable by being so supportive and kind. The procedure was over quickly and I was well supported throughout. Thank you so much to all the staff.

    I have recently accessed BPAS Liverpools services and I am amazed by the kindness and compassion shown by the staff. Everything was taken care of with efficiency and professionalism. The midwives made me feel so safe and reassured and non judged. It’s a scary time being a young girl making such a big decision and the staff showed support and care every step of the way ensuring I had all the information I needed. I am so grateful that we have access to these types of services providing women with choice and empowering them. The whole journey I have not felt judged or pressured into or out of a decision. I can’t thank the amazing staff enough for everything they have done for me the last 2 weeks I am so grateful.
