   I've had one of the worst nights at this dialysis center tonight it was very difficult to get any of the nurses attention after I was put on I wanted to take my medication with some tea and the nurse who I asked told me to wait while they disconnect their patient but 45 mins later I was still waiting there are no buzzers to call the nurses for things like asking for something to take pills with instead I got a very hot cup of tea and the nurse just left as quickly as the tea came to me then what's worse is I took my blood pressure tablets with this very hot cup of tea very late and not properly as some of the pills got washed back into the cup when I tried to take my pills and I burnt my throat trying to wash the pills down with more hot tea because the nurse only asked if I wanted sugar and I wanted extra milk when I asked a different nurse to get me some water because I've got some pills stuck in my throat she told me to wait while she finished cleaning the machine and acted like she couldn't understand what I was saying I understand that it's not their job to be fetching tea and biscuits but when I have pills to take at a certain time and I have no way to get the nurses attention it makes it difficult to get a decent blood pressure at the end of the session and that ultimately would impact me when I get home because I'd struggle with high blood pressure when I'm trying to get to sleep. I work full time and I can't afford to take sick days because I could take my pills on time and I couldn't get to sleep when I got home
