    I was very nervous before my assessment but was relieved to find that not only was my consultant pleasant and polite but seemed genuinely caring, spoke to me in language I could easily understand and explained everything to myself and my carer very clearly. She took a lot of time to understand my conditions and was kind. I know that perhaps doesn't sound a lot but, after years of stigma and prejudice, it was a huge thing for me
