The manager and his team at 49b Star Road have been totally amazing to my brother & Mum and I over the years, they have significantly increased their quality of life. My brother is excited to arrive at Star Road, he heads straight to the living room and loves the interaction with all their staff, who make him feel special. The staff sit with my brother chatting to him, getting him drinks and snacks, and the meals at Star Road always smell so delicious. His cosy bedroom, he has the freedom to go to bed when he feels ready, and the staff help him to settle at bedtime. In the morning he's greeted with a cup of tea and when he's ready, they wash and get him dressed. My brother is treated with respect, kindness and compassion. I am certain of this because I have had many unplanned visits there and seen it with my own eyes, he feels relaxed and happy there. The manager of 49b Star Road is such an exceptionally compassionate, caring, talented and thoughtful person. He has been amazingly supportive and understanding to my mother and I throughout these years. You can tell he cares deeply, and takes the time to understand each person so well, including my brother. The manager has done an incredible job of training an exceptional team. He gets everyone to work together in a harmonious way, he creates a welcoming, warm, positive and joy filled environment at 49b Star Road. It really feels like a home, away from home. I have peace of mind knowing that my brother is safe, healthy and happy at Star Road. I know my Mum felt the same way all these years my brother has stayed at Star Road.
