Mum went into St Theresa’s in Feb 2022 and was there for two years. I looked at a lot of homes before deciding on St Theresa’s but my mind was made up after my first visit. The owners sat with me answering my questions in a full and honest manner and it was evident they were committed to running a home I wanted mum to be in. My first impression and a lasting one is that St Theresa’s is definitely a home-from-home. It is cosy and homely and always felt like I was visiting a real home and not a care home. The staff were always kind and considerate and although mum could be difficult at times they treated her with respect and ensured she maintained her dignity. Mum was always clean and respectable when I visited and her personal care was impeccable. The owner always had time for me when I needed to discuss something and I can honestly say that she helped me through some difficult times as well as mum. If you are looking for a home for someone you love, look no further than St Theresa’s.
