I’m our situation Staff are having conflicting messages re; mums care from family who do not agree what is best for her. In this context , staff are diligently getting to know my mum, listening to her, caring for her in her preferred way. They are the epitome or person centred care. I am very grateful to them for their kind, sensitive and responsive care . They are reliable, professional and are starting to feel like part of the family. Their care is especially effective when they bring their whole self to work, talking about current events, hopes, dreams, politics, news and sharing in general sense themselves and their lives. If I were to make one suggestion for change it would be that staff wore their own clothes rather than uniform. It adds to a feeling of the personal rather than the institutional and gives a talking point. “Ooo you look lovely today, I like your top” etc… most people want a human being in their lives rather than simply a professional. It helps with connection. Best regards

I would like to say a big thankyou to light health care and their carers who are taking care of our uncle they are very professional passionate and also attentive they leave my uncles home spotless nothing is ever to much trouble for them they are like a breath of fresh air thankyou guys we really do appreciate you all.
