Review titled No one knows what they are doing
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 April 2025
I have had an awful past 2 months with this surgery. Firstly, after waiting weeks for an appointment, in said telephone appointment the doctor told me that I had been prescribed a medication, which I then went to pick up that week. There was no prescription for me at the pharmacy, and it was Saturday so I needed to wait until Monday to call the surgery to find out what was going on. I then had to make another appointment, to speak to a doctor, who then informed me that I was supposed to have a blood test before I could be prescribed the medication, which the original doctor never informed me of. The 2nd doctor informed me that I could just 'walk-in' and request a blood test, I later found out that I was meant to make a separate appointment. I then had to wait more days to get the blood test done, and then wait a week for my results to be emailed to me. Now, the surgery has asked me to forward them a letter from a specialist, which should be in my health record on their system, and I know it is on their system as a doctor has told me the contents of the letter on the first phone appointment referenced. I do not have this letter, and instead of having the letter stored on the system (as it should be) no one can find this letter, and it has been left up to me to call this specialist to obtain this letter. Who knows when I will get my prescription? I really think no one has been sympathetic to the mess that I have been put through, and no one has offered to help reach out to the specialist, when I know the specialist has sent the letter to the GP. I should have had this medication a month and a half ago, and my mental health is severely declining because of this.
