Only 1 buzzer in lounge which is situated at the other side of room on a residents table if friend needs help she has to shout other lady to press it. Friend asked for buzzer to be pressed because she needed medication, approx 30 minutes a carer came other resident said she would like to go to bed and friend asked for medication. Long time after nurse came with medication friend said she needed toilet nurse said press buzzer for carer .Carer came to take other lady to bed friend still waiting for toilet mentioned it to carer to which she was told another carer was coming to see to her. I asked carer how long they let the buzzer go before answering it she said she was busy feeding someone, I told her friend desperate needs toilet and eventually someone came.Staff was on corridor talking about what I had said and nurse asked me on my way out about the problem, I told her the length of time in which buzzer is answered was quite a while she said I could raise the issue with the manager who wasn’t there. Every time I go there is no staff about no interaction with residents and it seems like the norm for them to be their rooms early

Friend had to wait ages for toilet as no staff around to answer buzzer, when finally taken she was left on her own. Pressed buzzer again to go back into lounge , no answer managed to get herself off the toilet make herself descent then banged on the door to get someone’s attention. Finally a carer came but was going to another resident, he walked back down the corridor to shout someone to help her , buzzer still going unanswered carer came eventually to see to her ,causing resident to be quiet upset . Was told other staff was cleaning the big lounge
