  1. Review titled A&E Department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 May 2023

From entering the A & E department to further help in the accident eye department I had nothing but excellent service at all time from every member of staff I had dealings with. I was given a follow up appointment and the care continued to be excellent. Thank you to everyone I saw.

  2. Review titled NHS doctor at their finest

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 May 2023

A&e doctor was outstanding. To avoid delays he carried out all aspects of care himself from pushing the trolley to and from a scan to removing a drip and cleaning up. Didn’t get his name but he’s a credit to the nhs and was looking after the patient in M 6in the afternoon of 29/5.

  3. Review titled Staff not wearing appropriate ppe! Appalling

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 April 2023

Shocked to walk in and see most of staff not wearing appropriate ppe! There is a station with masks and hand gel dispenser right at the entrance… nobody using them?! How do you expect visitors to comply if the medical staff themselves don’t?! Audiology dept= none of them wearing at least a face mask! Got there for an early morning appt, still managed to be seen 15 min late although clearly 1st appt of the day… I suppose the staff need a cup of tea and enjoy morning gossip before they attend to their patients…by the way nobody wants to hear about hospital gossip whilst waiting. Staff should know better… Not impressed at all!

  4. Review titled Prompt service and efficient staff 5*

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 April 2023

I have never had such a smooth and prompt service at any hospital. It took me longer to walk to the x-ray department than I actually spent in there. Super, friendly, efficient staff were outstanding. Thank you.

  5. Review titled Tilney Ward a great ward

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 May 2023

I was recently taken into Tilney ward after collapsing. I spent almost 3 weeks on the ward before being transferred to Papworth. I found that all the staff were extremely caring. I was looked after well. They are a great team and all work well together.

  6. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Terence (Terry) Hooper - Posted on 08 March 2023

I attended the Arthur Levin Day Centre yesterday for a temporal biopsy and I would like to thank all members of the clinical and nursing teams who helped me. I was given first class treatment in a totally helpful, pleasant and considerate atmosphere. Thanks again to all concerned. Terence (Terry) Hooper

  7. Review titled Poor wait times for scheduled appointments

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2024

Over a two hour wait for a scheduled appointment, no update on how long to be seen. Patients arriving after being seen before. Lot is nurses stood around and not really doing much. It’s a shame to say but this use to be a great hospital, worried that this won’t get better

  8. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by J Crisp - Posted on 27 March 2023

Our Mum was taken to A & E yesterday. From the 999 call to discharge, she was treated with courtesy, care, compassion, respected and listened to, all with light humour and professional care. We thank you, all those connected with her care are doing a great job. the same goes with all the care received over time, especially the last 12 months. Thank you!

  10. Review titled Very good Experience attending A&E

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Wendy Littlefair - Posted on 09 February 2023

I attended A&E on Tuesday evening with acute abdominal pain and even though it was extremely busy I was seen by a doctor within an hour. I then had blood tests was given pain medication, iV fluids and sent for an X-ray. I was diagnosed with a bowel obstruction and not long afterwards was sent to the Surgical Assessment Unit. Fortunately the obstruction cleared without the need for further treatment and I was able to go home the following afternoon. All the nurses and doctors i saw in A&E and on the ward were extremely helpful and professional. I am very grateful to them all.
