Having a biopsy in Urology is not the most exciting prospect. I was feeling a tad worried when I entered the Urology Dept. However in Reception, within seconds I was made very welcome and put at ease. My escorting nurse was brilliant at telling me what to expect and more importantly what was expected of me. By now I felt wanted and appreciated and not just another body to be dealt with. The Doctor was superb in what he did before, during and after the procedure. One of the nurses went beyond the call of duty during the procedure due to a sticky malfunction. My escorting nurse looked after me brilliantly after the procedure and drink much appreciated. The information supplied by the department is excellent and I know what to expect and what to do with the unexpected. 5***** all round well done Urology!!

My Consultant is a wonderful person, nothing is too much trouble. His nurses are so caring. I can't thank them all enough, they make me feel worth while. Very many thanks.
