In October I spent almost there weeks recovering from major liver surgery which I received at Newcastle's freemans hospital at the cockermouth community hospital .the care I received from the nurses and doctors was exceptional if you are worried about going into hospital then there is no need to be at cockermouth there are 11 single rooms the food is lovely and well presented and comes extremely hot , the nursing staff could not have been more attentive and helpful and welcoming on arrival and throughout my stay , if you have to be unwell then the cockermouth community hospital is the place to take care of you to the highest standards. It rates a 10 out of ten in all aspects.
