Had to visit St Mary’s walk-in today, from the lady on reception to the triage nurse and the doctor. I couldn’t fault how well looked I was. Amazing Job Thank you.

  2. Review titled Excellent treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended Emergency Care Centre first for serious finger injuries. Staff were wonderful, fingers assessed and dressed and well looked after in case I fainted. Referred to Plastic Surgery the next day, Doctor and nurse were really kind, explained all that they did so I could understand it and then completely painlessly sewed the mangled ends of my two injured fingers up. Wonderful service.

  3. Review titled Positive Feedback with QA

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ruth Norris - Posted on 20 January 2023

This week I had two appointments at different clinics, Maxillofacial and Breast clinic. Both appointments were running incredibly efficient despite the high number of appointments for people in the Breast clinic! In between the mamagramme, ultrasound and seeing the consultant I only had to wait 10 minutes each time. Absolutely everyone I spoke to no matter what their job was were very kind, polite and professional! I was so impressed I posted my experience on Facebook (Fareham Matters) which you can see. The response was just amazing of everyone’s positivity and praise for the entire hospital. Almost 350 likes from people and many reviews of experiences. My post… I would just like to give a shout out to QA hospital. I had 2 appointments in 2 different departments on Tuesday, Maxillofacial and Breast clinics. I was so impressed at how smoothly and efficiently the clinics were running. The consultants, nurses and staff were incredibly polite and helpful. I’m not writing this for a debate and I’m aware of waiting times for A&E and operations. I simply wanted to say thank you to any Consultants, doctors, nurses, administrators, domestic staff etc … for your dependable caring work! Well done QA Many thanks indeed! Ruth Norris (Fareham)

I attended this satellite site run by the Hospital to have a very small foreign object removed from deep inside my ear, which my audiologist had been unable to remove. The clinic staff demonstrated great perseverance, professionalism and humour, and managed to successfully remove it. I was very impressed and am very grateful for their efforts!

  5. Review titled Parking for Eye Appointment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Attended the eye department recently with my husband. We are both elderly as were the other patients attending. The only parking available was in the multi-storey car park. There were no directions to the eye department and after asking a few people discovered it was a very long way from the car park. We are not classified disabled but certainly aren’t as fit as we were and the walk was almost more than we could manage. Considering the average age of patients to this department dedicated spaces nearer should be provided. We will now have to go to the expense of taxis as we can’t walk that far.
