My girlfriend rang up this morning to discuss some issues she’s been having after having the contraceptive injection on December 8th and has caused her to be continuously bleeding since January 5th. She then proceeded to pass this info onto the receptionist who then proceeded to speak to her with the worst attitude I’ve witnessed from a receptionist which is completely unacceptable. She was told she can either ring back tomorrow “as we don’t do consultations over the phone” and then said even if we did ring tomorrow “there still probably won’t be someone to speak to over the phone” so why even suggest that to her then. And finally when the copper coil was mentioned the receptionist then with no thought or consideration with the worst attitude ever told her “well just have it taken out then”, which was then explained to the receptionist the coil wasn’t the issue but they were not listening to the problems at all. The service received from the receptionist at arrowside unit within Alexandra hospital, Redditch on 15/2/24 at 9:46 was absolutely appalling and would not recommend anyone to go or will be going back there in the future.

Extremely hard to get in touch. I called 50 times in last 4 hours and still unable to get in touch for my results. I am happy to share the evidence too

Absolutely terrible service, phoned to book an appointment to be told we don't book appointments we take your details then a nurse will call you back to discuss and offer you an appointment if needed. This is a totally appalling service you are being obstructive and causing difficulties for people who need to access healthcare. An appointment should be offered to people who want a health check. Serious improvements need to be made so it's easier and simple for people who want an appointment and access to healthcare because how it is now is a disgrace!
