    Using two numbers, one from their website and another from a different nuffield health hospital, I have been on hold to get past the first options page for over an hour and a half just today. This is the only Nuffield hospital I have been directed to for my specific treatment requirements and I have spent days of attempts and hours on hold trying to get any information about the hospital or my specific enquiries. If I knew of another hospital that provides the treatment I need I would have given up long ago but as I am a captive market I cannot and instead am left finding it impossible to contact a relevant medical professional or even member of administrative staff. It seems like this issue would be solved by the hiring of more staff to man the phonelines, or a streamlining of the automatic directory. Either of these options would work and would not leave patients having to put aside significant sections of their day mutliple times just to try and talk to a representitive of the hospital. This is not a functional system for patients and it would be greatly appreciated if Nuffield Brighton could provide a method of introducing yourself to the hospital that actually allows you to do that. Thank you.
