     Received text saying make an appointment, then minutes later reveived another stating ignore previous text as it was sent in error. The next day received a third text saying make an appointment. Questioned this with reception staff who were quite blunt and not very reassuring. Was asked via text to wear a mask due to increase in COVID cases, only to find not a single staff member wearing masks! No hand soap in gents toilet, I thought there was a huge campaign promoting hygiene as a major factor in the fight against COVID? Booking in screen not working, Reception told this by a lady in front of me, when I asked if I could book in, the receptionist asked if I had tried the screen! She had been told literally 5 seconds before that it isn't working. On the plus side, I saw one of the nurses, who was very pleasant, professional and reassuring. I would definitely not recommend this surgery. This is not the first time I have had a poor experience with the attitude of staff members on reception.

    Every experience I've had with this practice has been a disgrace. I've come here for the past five years. My symptoms have been ignored and poorly dealt with. They make you feel gaslit into thinking your issues are in your head. I came for mental health support and they made me repeat myself about three times before I received any sort of help due to lack of recording. I've had issues with hairloss that they completely ignored. My last straw was being invited to a flu vaccination, waiting 30mins to be told that it was sent my mistake. They were aware of this glitch but didn't even have the respect to make their patients aware. Avoid at all costs unless desperate.

    I cannot speak highly enough of all at Furlong Medical Centre....my Doctor is an absolute Angel she makes me feel so at ease and is so pleasant, patient just a truly wonderful lady. All the nurses and receptionists go out of their way to make any visits as smooth as possible ... Everyone works so hard under extreme pressures ...All are a total credit to the NHS

    My husband rang 111 today to ask for advice regarding an insect bite to his calf. His calf had swollen over night, was red and hot to the touch. After numerous questions 111 made a request for his Dr to phone him. The doctor rang him within the hour offering a face to face appointment for 1 hour later, in order that he could examine his leg. After his thorough examination he concluded that he needed further investigation and blood tests at the hospital. This he arranged and my husband was seen at the AEC unit at the Royal Stoke an hour later. All the staff we met today from reception, nurses and doctors were polite, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Well done Furlong Medical Centre and AEC unit at the Royal Stoke and thank you for sorting my husband.

    Was in horrible pain knew I had an infection. Saw a doctor who Iv seen a few times over the years, had a kidney infection & I felt awful, the doctor was reassuring, professional, clear, lovely doctor can’t fault him always happy to see this particular gp thank you

    I have been a patient at this Practice for over 21 years. As the years have gone by the NHS has been under so much pressure, staff over worked, not enough doctors in the system as there was years ago. Furlong Medical Centre was one of the best years ago, doctors having time to talk to you, to listen to your problems but sadly this is no longer the case. The system is failing, the surgery is failing. I can never get through on the telephone for the past month in total I have rang 231 times and still not got an appointment, how is this acceptable, how is this ensuring patient care is of a high standard, why is it so hard to speak to anyone. I'm utterly disappointed in the Practice. You've had some lovely doctors and nurses over the years. This past month especially I've never struggled so much to get past the receptionists, to speak to a doctor. Sadly I will now have to consider moving doctors.

    I've been at this Practice for many years and what an utter disgrace it has become. No appointments, can never get through on the telephones, I tried to make an appointment via email and still no reply. I'm so tired of chasing this doctors. I will be changing doctors absolutely awful

    I have nothing but the highest praise for the treatment I have and am receiving . The lady Doctor is wonderful..an Angel who's concern, patience and understanding goes way beyond any responsibility as a GP .....the nurse puts me at ease and makes me feel comfortable and is so easy to confide in ...the receptionists are also as helpful and pleasant as you could wish for ....

    Never ever will i go to this Practice again, absolutely awful staff, no manners, secretary spoke me like i was dirt. Last GP i saw was again unhelpful and told to basically go away.
