Porridge with yoghurt and berries recipe
Porridge is very satisfying and good for you, especially when served with fruit. What's more, porridge oats are cheap to buy, and better for you than sugar-coated cereal. A great way to start your day!

Ingredients
- 150g porridge oats
- 8 tablespoons low-fat natural yoghurt
- 100g defrosted frozen summer berries, or forest fruits
Method

Put the porridge oats and water into a non-stick saucepan. Heat and stir until boiling, then lower the heat and simmer gently, stirring often, for 5 minutes.
Information:Remember to take the frozen fruit out of the freezer the night before so that it has thawed out in time for breakfast.

Spoon the porridge into serving bowls and top each portion with 2 tablespoons of yoghurt. Spoon the berries on top and serve.
