CPPQ 2018/19

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2019/19 are provided here.

MOBILITY2YOU

Ruxley Pharmacy is an official supplier of Mobility products.

To show how these producs can  help people with limited mobility but also prolong one's independence we have organised showcasing/training sessions so that you can have hands on experience of seeing and 'feeling' how mobility products can improve your quality of life.

 The sessions are scheduled for 18/12/18 at 14.00 at Fircroft Trust Day Centre , 96 Ditton Rd, Surbiton KT6 6RH 

and 

 for 08/01/19 at 13.15 at Alfriston Day Centre, 3 Berrylands Rd, Surbiton KT5 8RB

Do not miss out on free NHS Health check!

If you are aged between 40-74 and have not been diagnosed or treated for cardio vascular condition we can complete YOUR FREE NHS HEALTH CHECK AT OUR PHARMACY! This includes blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index measurement and if at risk, blood sugar test too! This in conjunction with looking at your lifestyle (diet, exercise, smoking etc.) will provide you with the % score to determine your risk of suffering cardiovacular complications (stroke, heart attack) within next 10 years. You will also be able to see how you compare against the people of the same age/gender/ethnicity and how doing minor changes in your lifestyle affects your score.Please call us on 0208 393 2094 or pop in to book an appointment! No need to fast before the blood tests!

Flu jabs

Flu vaccination season is well and truly underway why not pop in for your flu vaccination. Free NHS vaccinations are available for all over 65's and also patients diagnosed with diabetes, asthma, COPD or heart conditions of any age. If you do not fall into these categories we can still vaccinate you privately at £10 per vaccine.

Stop smoking

Our healthcheck service is enjoying great success with our customers. During these checks we have noticed that your Cardiovascular risk score (the risk of having heart attack or stroke within next 10 years) drops significany if you stop smoking! 

Consider if you may be at risk and come and speak to us about quitting smoking for good or if you want to change your life for the better!
