ASDA Pharmacy

Asda pharmacies provide a variety of healthcare services to help you and your family make the most of your health and wellbeing. 

We are here when you need us, we are open 7 days a week, including late evenings and bank holidays so you can visit an Asda pharmacy when it is convenient for you.

Our trained pharmacists are happy to help and can discuss the services we have available.

Appointments may be necessary.

All our pharmacies have a private room available where you can talk to the pharmacist confidentially. Please ask a member of our pharmacy team for more information.

Save Time - Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

COVID19 Update

Your personal safety is of paramount importance. We have introduced some new ways in which you can collect or have your prescriptions supplied and access the various services offered by your local Asda pharmacy:

“Call and Collect” Service  - our “Call and Collect” Service, allows you to call your local Asda pharmacy to check that your prescription is ready and then collect it without having to leave your vehicle.

Telephone Consultation Service – a telephone consultation service for our private services e.g. Hair Loss; Period Delay; Erectile Dysfunction

In store Protection

To protect you and your family when visiting the pharmacy, we have implemented several safety measures including pharmacy screens and personal protective equipment (PPE) for our pharmacy teams.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
