Overview

Langley Pharmacy was established as an independent pharmacy in 2012 to primarily serve the population of Langley. The pharmacy provides high quality accessible services for the local population.

It is situated within Langley Health Centre, alongside GP services and community health services such as district nursing, health visitors, podiatry, audiology and community dental services.

Our aim is to have an integrated GP service and pharmacy on one site, working side by side to manage patients in the community. We will work closely with our GP colleagues to deliver integrated care for our patients ensuring there is a seamless pathway from consulting room to the pharmacy counter.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
