Overview

Northfield Pharmacy

Northfield Pharmacy has been serving the local community for over 32 years. The pharmacy is located in the heart of Ealing (West London) on Northfields Avenue only minutes away from Northfields and South Ealing Tube Station. The pharmacy is ideally located only 20 minutes away from Heathrow making it ideal for patients who need an urgent travel vaccination before they fly.

The friendly staff and owners (Alka & Dilip) are on a first name basis with most of the customers and all our customers will agree that the efficient, quick and the impeccable quality of the service is why many return whether it be from near or far.

On top of dispensing prescriptions we can now order and pick up your prescriptions and keep them ready at the pharmacy for collection at your convenience. We also provide Emergency Hormonal Contraception (Levonelle, Morning After Pill), Medication Reviews, Disability Aids, Minor Ailment service, a Smoking Cessation Service, NHS & Private Flu Vaccinations & Monitored Dosage Systems. The newest service we are offering is a travel clinic which will allow patients to get their travel vaccinations at their convenience without the need for an appointment.

Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire 2016/17

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2016/17 are provided here

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
